Nominees for the 60th annual Grammy Awards have been announced

Nominees for the 60th annual Grammy Awards have been announced, and Queens Of The Stone Age, Avenged Sevenfold, Lorde, The War on Drugs, Foo Fighters, Chris Cornell, Portugal. The Man, Metallica, LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, Father John Misty, The National, Gorillaz and more have all nabbed Rock nominations.

Portugal. The Man is nominated for “Feel It Still” in, surprisingly, the Pop Duo/Group Performance category. Nothing More has picked up three nominations: one for Best Rock Album for The Stories We Tell Ourselves, for Best Rock Performance for “Go To War” and Best Rock Song, also for “Go To War.” Also in the Best Rock Performance category is Chris Cornell for “The Promise.” In the Best Metal Performance category, Code Orange received a nomination for “Forever,” and Avenged Sevenfold‘s “The Stage” nominated for Best Rock Song.

The Grammys will be held Jan. 28, 2018 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, hosted by James Corden and broadcast via CBS.
