The current guitarist in Ryan Adams’ band, La Sera’s Todd Wisenbaker, has posted a response to the allegations of sexual misconduct and emotional abuse against Adams, as originally outlined in a New York Times exposé last week. Wisenbaker wrote that he has realized “everything [Adams] ever told me is a lie upon a lie upon a lie” and called the singer-songwriter a “monster.” He claimed he had tried to persuade Adams to seek help “some time ago.” Since the publication of the New York Times piece, a number of other artists have made statements about their own experiences with Adams, including singer Karen Elson, who claimed to have had a “traumatizing experience” with Adams, as well as Jenny Lewis and Liz Phair. Both Phoebe Bridgers and Adams’ ex-wife Mandy Moore, who both spoke to the NYT for the article, have both spoken out following its publication as well, with Moore giving an in-depth interview to Marc Maron on his WTF podcast. Adams’ upcoming album, Big Colors, has been pulled from release and radio has been pulling his songs as well.

Last week brought the news that a decades-old, relatively obscure Dinosaur Jr. song had suddenly become a hit in Japan, for reasons that were not clear to anyone in the English-language music press at the time. Now, Gizmodo has an explanation, involving clips from an old Japanese variety show working in tandem with a culprit we should have suspected from the beginning: the YouTube algorithm. Dinosaur Jr.’s surprise Japanese hit is “Over Your Shoulder,” the closing track of the band’s sixth album, 1994’s Without a Sound.

Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson, AKA the Twins Of Evil, their co-headlining Hell Never Dies 2019 tour! The tour is set to kick off July 9 in Baltimore, Maryland and finish up on August 18 in Gilford, New Hampshire.

Rob Zombie has expressed his interest in making his first film into a Broadway musical. While House of 1000 Corpses is generally regarded as a slasher disaster, Zombie believes its ridiculousness may be perfect for a theatrical performance on Broadway. Despite House of 1000 Corpses originally tanking, the franchise became a staple in the horror/slasher genre. The franchise later adopted a sequel, The Devil’s Rejects in 2005. Additionally, the third installment, 3 From Hell is slated for release in 2019.

twenty one pilots have received gold certification in Poland for their latest album, Trench. Warner Music Poland took to Instagram to share a photo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun with their gold certification plaques, just before their show in Lodz. Afterward, the band hit the stage to put on an incredible performance…. and have a little fun with the audience by playing “The Quiet Game“. Instead of seeing which venue can muster up the loudest screams, twenty one pilots are timing fans for how long they can last being completely, dead silent. According to the band’s tweet, twenty one pilots intend to play the game throughout the rest of their Bandito tour.
